Founded in 1997 in Copenhagen by D. Oshima and J. Ballar, Hadient started as a scientific punx company. The name "Hadient" is a portmanteau of the Japanese word "Ha" and the Spanish word "Diente", signifying our unique blend of cultures and ideas.
Our initial product, a punx-inspired safe pin-shaped accessory for the gums, made it appear as if the teeth were pierced, captivating a global audience.
Despite our success, in 1998, Hadient faced bankruptcy due to legal challenges from a capitalist lawyer couple on Bornholm Island, leading to the transfer of all shares to an investment bank.
Our Evolution
Today, Hadient has pivoted to producing specialized screws used in large machinery for making detergent powder. Our unique process involves applying a special acid, combining artificial photosynthesis with nanotechnology, to achieve a 3 cm enlargement of generic screws. This innovation is now being used to revolutionize horse barn production. Hadient has transformed into a holding company, overseeing a diverse range of businesses from grocery stores to convenience supermarkets.
